Blue Is the New Orange

I've noticed a rainbow of unusually colored pumpkins in stores this year, and I love all of them. I just picked up this silvery sage Australian Jarrahdale pumpkin at Trader Joe's. Apparently it's bright orange on the inside and tastes delicious. But I love the look of it so much that I'm not sure it'll be on the menu anytime soon. I've paired it in our entryway with a Kari Herer print. My husband John and I were very lucky to have Kari as our wedding photographer and I'm absolutely head over heels for everything she does. The branches in the silver mint julep cup are blueberries planted by our home's previous occupants in the front yard. Sadly they're not edible (thank you google image search...that could have been a disaster.)
